This map viewer displays select databases relevant to rural communities and regions. It presents an interactive rural data visualization to help illustrate key information derived from statistical programs. This web application will be updated on an ad-hoc basis.

The map investigates the proximity of rural areas to employment, grocery stores, pharmacies, health care, child care, primary education, secondary education, libraries, and neighbourhood parks. An aggregate measure of "Amenities present nearby" is also provided to indicate areas that have access to basic services for a family with minors within a short driving distance.
