This webinar will be a dynamic session using the Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS) Public Use Microdata File (PUMF) to demonstrate:
- How the CCHS is transformed from a confidential file to public use
- Considerations for setting up a weighted tabulation (what to check in the documentation before starting)
- Setting up for a tabulation in SAS
- Weighted estimation with variance measures in SAS
- Future CCHS PUMFs

About the presenters:
Shawn Brulé, Statistics Canada
Shawn Brulé is the manager of data products for the Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS) at Statistics Canada. He has been the lead analyst and then manager for the release of CCHS PUMFs since the 2013-2014 cycle, coordinating the disclosure control process for the file and building the documentation for their releases. Shawn holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Ottawa and has worked at Statistics Canada since 2010.
