OECD released this report called Divided Cities, Understanding Intra-urban Inequalities, providing an "assessment of spatial inequalities and segregation in cities and metropolitan areas from multiple perspectives. The chapters in the report focus on a subset of OECD countries and non-member economies, and provide new insights on cross-cutting issues for city neighbourhooods."

How Happy are Your Neighbours? A New Study of Canadian Communities

A new study looks at measurements of happiness in Canadian communities and finds that the old saying is true: money isn’t everything.

Researchers are increasingly using data to gauge qualitative factors like quality of life. While important aspects like affordable housing and short commutes can be easily put into numbers, the most important factor- sense of community belonging- remains somewhat more abstract.
