Join the Community Economic Development and Employability Corporation (CEDEC) for an insightful webinar on how data-driven research can support Collaborative Economic Development across Quebec. This session will explore how CEDEC works alongside public, private, and civil society sectors to identify, assess, and advance Collaborative Economic Development that benefits individuals, businesses, social enterprises, and communities.

The presentation will highlight the research activities of CEDEC’s Analytics and Strategic Integration (ASI) group and its approach to socioeconomic, labour force and market research, demonstrating how qualitative and quantitative data are used to better understand regional trends, workforce composition and dynamics, and emerging opportunities. We will also discuss our work in economic impact measurement, showcasing how CEDEC measures the tangible economic benefits and aggregated economic impacts of its Ventures.

Presenter: 

Sarine Karajian is the Senior Director of Analytics and Strategic Integration (ASI) at CEDEC. She holds a Master’s of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Business Management - Finance from John Molson School of Business, Concordia University. Her work at CEDEC focuses on providing research and analysis, including economic research and impact measurement, in support of CEDEC’s work in economic development and in exploring new collaborative economic development opportunities.  

Sarine Karajian est directrice principale de l’analyse et de l’intégration stratégique au CEDEC. Elle détient une maîtrise ès sciences (M. Sc.) en finance de la John Molson School of Business, Université Concordia. Son travail au CEDEC est axé sur la recherche et l’analyse, notamment la recherche économique et la mesure des retombées, afin d’appuyer les activités de développement économique du CEDEC et d’explorer de nouvelles possibilités de collaboration en développement économique.
