Statistics Canada is now offering their Executive Bootcamp on Disaggregated Data for provinces, territories, and municipalities.  

Are you a Director in a provincial, territorial or municipal government in Canada? Are you focused on policy or program operations and interested in enhancing your data acumen skills? 

Statistics Canada is piloting a unique program for policy/program executives to enhance their ability to leverage disaggregated data for informed policy decisions. 

Key Program Features: 

·                Panel Discussion: We have an impressive lineup of expert panelists: 

o        Dr. Wendy Cukier, Founder of the Toronto Metropolitan University’s Diversity Institute 

o        Aklilu Tefera, Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM) at the Ontario Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement 

o        Dr. Kwame McKenzie, CEO of the Wellesley Institute 

o        Gayatri Jayaraman, Director General at Statistics Canada 

·                Workshops: Gain practical insights into challenging the data and navigating ethical considerations in data usage. 

Program Dates: 

·                February 12th (1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. EST): Panel Discussion on the importance of disaggregated data in policy development 

·                April 9th (1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. EST): Workshop 1: Challenging the Data 

·                April 16th (1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. EST): Workshop 2: Data Ethics
