Statistics Canada have sent out a newsletter with information on their recently released report, Education Indicators in Canada: An International Perspective, 2019, as well as their upcoming Chat with an Expert session. Read the content of the newsletter below:

"Statistics Canada just released a report entitled Education Indicators in Canada: An International Perspective, 2019, which is a rich source of education statistics for Canada and the provinces and territories. Jointly produced with the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada, the report contains a set of 12 indicators presented in five chapters that cover topics such as:

  • the educational attainment of the adult population
  • the connection between educational attainment and the labour market
  • the financial resources invested in education
  • the transition from school to work
  • the working time and teaching time of teachers in public institutions
  • the education-related sustainable development goals.

On December 13, 2019, Statistics Canada will be hosting a Chat with an Expert session with our education data experts to discuss the latest results from this education indicators report.
