Luna Child and Youth Advocacy Centre (Luna) uses a multidisciplinary, holistic approach to support young people experiencing abuse. Governed by a board of interdisciplinary directors, Luna works in formalized partnerships with the Calgary Police Service, Calgary Children’s Services, Alberta Health Services, Alberta Justice - Calgary Crown Prosecutor’s Office, the RCMP and Alberta Education to provide wraparound services to victims and their families. Luna is a physical site which co-locates more than 130 professionals with expertise in criminal justice, child protection, medicine, psychology, and social work.
