About the presenter:

Paul Laffin, Statistics Canada 
Paul Laffin is a seasoned professional with nearly 10 years of experience working at Statistics Canada. For the last three years, Paul has been serving as a Data Ambassador where he has been responsible for developing and managing relationships with external partners, including academia, private sector, government, and international organizations. In this role, Paul's primary objective is to ensure that Statistics Canada's data is accessible and understandable to the community. To achieve this goal, he reaches out to different community members to understand their data needs and helps develop solutions. Paul also manages various federal, provincial government, and international NGO data requests, ensuring that they are met with the highest level of accuracy and timeliness.
