On Thursday, September 7, the Commission on Evidence-Based Policymaking released their mandatory report. The report includes over 20 recommendations to facilitate the sharing of data across agencies and the evaluation of federal programs.

The report includes recommendations on:

  1. How the Federal government can provide the infrastructure for secure access to data.
  2. The mechanisms to improve privacy protections and transparency about the uses of data for evidence building.
  3. The institutional capacity to support evidence building.
