The 2016 Census Dissemination Project has released of the first set of 2016 Census geography products. Included are:

• Census Dictionary – Geography component only (definitions, supporting tables and figures)
• Aggregate dissemination area (ADA) – Standard geography along with reference maps and an boundary file
• Spatial information products –  Road Network File (RNF), select Boundary files (including hydrography) and reference guides
• Attribute information products – Correspondence Files and reference guide

Also being released today is the Standard Geographical Classification (SGC) 2016 which systematically categorizes some of the geographic areas of Canada. This version of the SGC includes a classification variant that describes the agricultural geography of Canada.
