The credit report characteristics dataset measures levels of non-mortgage consumer debt and related risk at the six-digit postal code (FSALDU) level.
Odds charts files are zipped together with the data file. Odds charts indicate the number of records that can be expected to perform negatively for a given score range ("Bad Rate") as well as the approximate odds of negative performance. These data can be used along with the distribution values (mean, standard deviation) of the credit report characteristics to determine the proportion of the population expected to experience bankruptcy or default on a credit payment.
